It is a light shining book on the difficult topic of war and leaving home to seek a better life.
It is a touching book because it is based on a true story.
It is an educational book because of its brutal honesty.
It is heartbreaking because of the painful experiences of a brave mother and her little child.
It is inspiring how mother and daughter never lose faith and their strength to fight for their Freedom.
It is eye-opening because of many delicate topics: Immigration, discrimination, social isolation, injustice, long-term Unemployment, bullying and depression. (This is your host breaking in to point out how casually Lily has maintained the lucky number 7 theme. Cleaver squirrel.)
It is encouraging because despite a difficult journey over three decades of heartbreaks, betrayal, bureaucracy and struggles, mother and daughter never give up.

#6 - In 7 sentences, tell me what you are writing, or working on, now?
I always work on several book projects.
Right now I’m working on my book “History Reloaded”.
It is a collection of all my blog posts during the refugee crises.
I’m also writing a humorful book “God & Lily – The secret of Life”.
Also on my release list in 2017 is “Lily Amis Short Stories – part 2”.
I hope I will finally manage to finish the third and last part of my trilogy “Definition of Love”.
Also on my release list is my book “Colors of Hope”
#7 - Name 7 Indie Authors whose work you have read and enjoyed. If you haven’t read 7; shame on you.
As much as I like to read, I simply don’t have the time. Therefore I don’t have seven Indie Authors on my list but seven books by Indie Authors. (And a sneaky squirrel as well.)

Rachel McGrath (Short stories) rachelmcgrath.net/
Jessica Snape (Children book)
Lucinda Clarke (Memoir, reading now) lucindaeclarkeauthor.com/
Rick Amitin (Memoir, read the read sample but it is on my to read list!)
