Determined. Strong. Independent. Helpful. Humor. Creative. Deductive.
#4 - Pretend you have just finished reading this book and in 7 sentences, describe your feelings. GO!
After reading Save the Date the emotions I felt during the aftermath of September 11th come rushing back.
It reminds me of how uncertain the future seemed.
I also came away with a sense of hope.
That even in the darkest hour you can find joy.
(And squirrelly humor if you keep hanging with us at the nut house)
The love and friendship between the characters have for one another left me feeling optimistic.
The characters were so well drawn out that I felt like I really knew them.
Overall the book left me with a sense of hope and optimism for the characters.
#5 - Rewrite a major scene in this book, in 7 words. Can be connected as in a sentence or individual.
They fell prey to their deadly fears.
(Come back! Aw, you went and done it now. These squirrels flee at the word 'prey'. They aren't too crazy about 'hawk' either, but I didn't say that out loud. I'll be back. Gotta round up some panicking squirrels)
#6 - In 7 sentences, tell me what you are writing, or working on, now?
I am currently working on Remember the Stilettos.
This is the third book in my Book Cellar Series that I co-write with sweet romance writer, Melissa Storm.
The series is a sweet mystery.
This means that there is no swearing, sex, violence or the Lord’s name taken in vain.
The series takes place in a fictional small town in Texas.
The book is broken down into three alternating points of view from three very different women.
If you enjoy suspense and drama without all the sex and swearing than this may be the series for you.
